She soon discovers a thief taking gems from a jewelry shop. The thief is quite good but his ally distracts the clerk while it is done. They aren't too expensive as the gems in the display case are mostly for show. Fremea follows both men out the shop and fascinates both of them. She tells the men to go back to the shop and confess of their crime and wait for a city guard to go to jail. Later she is flying back to her home when she spots a man picking certain items on a laundry line at a home out back. She watches the man sniff some female under garments and lands. She fascinates the man and tells him to enter the outhouse naked with the underwear on his head and wait for the first person to come. Then report his crime. Fremea watches the man strip and realizes he is compensating for other things it seems. She watches from a nearby roof and waits. Some 25 minutes later a family arrives at the house. She watches as a girl around 10 rushes to the outhouse. She dreads that but can't stop it now. The girl screams when she sees the man and rushes to get her dad. The dad soon returns with a very large horse whip. Soon there is beating and yelling in order. [Janaq 17th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck, insubstantiability, levitate and then another blind teleport spell. This time she ends up 3 feet behind her. She groans as that was a stupid blind teleport of only 3 feet. [Janaq 18th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 12:39 am] Fremea is restless tonight and decides to fly outside the city in the hills. One of her kids left for good today after a aunt found the boy, who was homeless. They both left for Malnon city. It hurts to have a kid leave but it has to be done. As she is flying the moon is almost full and she spots a large creature in the distance. She gasps as she has heard of such things. A Herensuge that is very mean. This large 35 foot serpent has 7 heads on 7 necks with green scales and red stripes. The red is enough to warn they are dangerous. She heard about them in the Sacred Forest in the Vassa lands. How they devastate entire herds and also dine on humans. Fremea knows these things have no wings but fly though magic. But not for long maybe 3-5 minutes. But if she lets this thing go it could kill innocent lives not just poor cute sheep. She pulls her bow and casts a spell to make the arrows multiply. Then getting behind the creature she fires. Three of the six arrows hit doing 3 and 2 points while the 3rd bounces off his tough hide. A 4th arrow does penetrate deep on its side doing 11 more points. The creature turns and lunges for Fremea. Two of 3 heads bite at the flying Fae. One does 4 and one does 5 points of damage to her side and leg. Fremea screams at the strength of the huge serpent. She realizes if her armor was off she'd be dead right now. She dives and flies away. She realizes soon she is just a bit faster as it chases her. It seems to say about 10-12 feet behind her. But she can't stop and fire another volley of arrows. Soon she will tire. She dives right for a light set of trees. She lands on a tree and casts a spell as she uses the tree to shield her view for now. The creature tries to search back and forth for the tasty snack. Then she casts another spell to levitate herself above the tree. She aims and fires her second arrow. Five of the six arrows hit the serpent. Of the four only 1 penetrates the tough armor doing 1 point the others bounce off. Another gets a severe hit in a head but only does 2 points to that 5th head. The creature dives right for Fremea and passes right through her as she has no solid mass. While the arrows and bow have no mass once the arrow departs the bow it becomes solid and divides into multiple arrows. She fires again. Three arrows hit doing 1 and 2 more points while a 3rd bounces. But 2 more arrows penetrate deep into the hide of the snake doing 10 and 10 more points! Frustrated and stupid the creature tries to attack and bite at Fremea but she is not there in mass as she levitates back and forth. Three more arrows bounce off the tough hide. But a 4th penetrates deep and does 15 points! The creature falls as the life ends for it and the creature's magic ends with it. It lands with a hard thump on the ground. But Fremea lands and waits for her own spell to end. She can tell it is still alive. Once solid she goes to the limp central head and cuts it off ensuring the creature dies. Later that afternoon Fremea spends the day with Corona and flying as well as practicing her eagle tongue. She doesn't do much acrobats after doing a magical healing on herself this morning and trying to recover the damage. [Time: 2:35 pm] Fremea is done shopping for supplies and food with bags on her back and her arms. She is flying to her warehouse when she spots way off to the south on the edge of the city a fireball. She hovers and squints. No. Maybe its a meteor? No it seems to go straight not down at an angle. Then she realizes it is almost the same of a animal like a horse? But it is made fully of flame! Fremea is curious about the creature but has to land to drop off the supplies. She watches as the creature flies eastward. Later she tells her mother about it and she says it sounds like one of those flaming steeds. [Janaq 19th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck which fails and then a Knowledge to gain more insight on reading and writing. [Time: 12:58 pm] Fremea encounters a eagle while flying over the city. This one seems to ignore Fremea when she tries to get near and friendly. [Janaq 20th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 11:52 pm] Fremea is leaving a tavern after a long dinner with Etain. She is in her disguise and tired. She slips into a side alley so she can remove her dress and fly home. When suddenly a group of men surround her. Tired she yawns. "Look what we have here! Maybe we can have some fun or ransom her?" One of the men says a bit slurred with what is probably some exotic drug inside him. Fremea yawns and sighs. Bandits really? Seven against one seems a bit unfair. She speaks a bit slowly. "Want to see something neat?" The men stop suddenly curious. Fremea begins to raise her dress and the men grin wickedly. But it only reveals Fremea in her normal clothing and armor. But she unfurls her wings. The men step back a bit surprised. She asks who is first? Then charges. She draws her dagger. She thrusts her dagger at bandit #4 hitting in his left center ribs doing 4 points of damage. As she does she twirls and tries a shoulder slap with her martial arts on #6 but he steps back in time. The men draw daggers or rusty knives. Five charge her and swipe their blades. Three of the blades fail to penetrate her armor but one does doing 2 points to her back. Fremea stabs #2 in the chest killing him as she turns and does a side kick at #3 doing 4 points to his back. Two of the bandits attack and hit doing 2 and 1 points with their blades. Fremea stabs #5 doing 1 point and kicks him in the knee doing another point. Two of the bandits get good hits but only 1 does 1 point of damage as the other is deflected by armor. Fremea stabs #1 killing him as the blade penetrates into his side ribs. As she does she spins and kicks #5 which she just hit previously and crushes his other knee. The man goes down screaming and eventually dies. Now only 4 vs 1 with 2 of those wounded. She wipes the blood from her mouth and eggs them on. Of the 4 only 2 get close enough but are deflected by her agile moves ensuring that no damage got past her armor. Fremea stabs at #3 but misses but at the same time does a flying kick at #6's chest. The blow is so on the mark it crushes the man's throat doing 10 points of damage killing him instantly. The three left look at each other and run. Two of those are badly hurt. Fremea considers flying to end them from the pain of this life. She shrugs. She is tired. She goes through the pockets of the dead and collects up to 13 silver pieces! Now less tired she grins. She takes to the sky and chases the 3 men. But as she flies she hears Arawn's voice in her head to give them mercy. But Fremea's voice fights back as they are bad men! But Arawn argues that they will learn their lesson and maybe stop. But Fremea shouts she likes to give justice now. As she argues with herself she loses the men or the are just hiding very well. Tired she heads home after some magical healing on herself. [Janaq 24th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 1:35 am] Fremea wakes up to get some water at her home and notices out the window is a large white owl. She stares at it for a long time sitting in a tree. She notices a bit of grey aura around it. Like that of Corona. She wonders if the Owl is some tonah bird for some wizard or shaman. Before she can exit and question it the bird flies off. Later that afternoon she is leaving the boot shop on fixing her boots. Fremea casts Luck which fails, insubstantiability, levitate, and a blind random teleport. This time she ends up next to a smelly outhouse with the door open. Humans are disgusting animals. [Janaq 25th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] IN the morning Fremea spends time flying with Corona as long as Z'leyra doesn't need him. But it seems she gets too busy and doesn't do much flying herself. With her new school she needs to spend time there and Corona understands that. Today they decide to fly over the sea and watch the fishing and merchant ships go back and forth. The few sailing ships and pleasure craft are starting to come out this time of year due to the warmer climate. In the afternoon it is time for more pranks. She walks past in her disguise a gaming hall she has known about. It is rumored to cheat just about everyone except professional gamblers. She smiles and goes inside and finds the coat closet. She enters and casts invisibility. She then rushes to the gaming parlor. She should have 3 maybe 4 minutes. She goes to the dice table and watches as dice is thrown and bets are given. As the dice hit the table she deftly adjusts the dice to make the winning numbers. Suddenly 3 at the table are winners and cheer. She repeats this for another minute letting the folks win 5 more times. The dealer tries to change dice but even that doesn't help. She moves onto the Pike 20 table. A game where folks bet on black or red and a certain number with a bowl that deposits a single winner random ball. She realizes she can't fix the balls but she can fix the bets. When the winner is 18 and bets are nearby she can deftly slide the chips to the winning spot before the dealer sees. This causes 4 winners. Suddenly she notices a large bouncer talking to the owner and decides her stay is over done. This place might have magic detection devices for cheaters. But she estimates she cost the place 112 gold. So she is quite happy. Later she enters a jeweler shop. The shop owner did not respect her at all when she tries to buy tools. She casts her invisibility spell again in the alley and enters. With a shop full of customers she deftly moves gems and rings from one place to another. She deposits some of the items in pockets and bags for the customers to find. Course if they are honest they'll return it. But likely not. Soon chaos ensues as the clerk is threatened for stealing and a minor fist fight almost results. The owner throws everyone out so he can do a long and costly inventory. [Janaq 26th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea has been listening to the kids and her parents for a few weeks now on how well Etain is doing. After the events in Donara she did not treat him so well. The Elf teacher who basically betrayed her - or so it seemed. She now knows he was only doing what the Royals wanted of him. As a result of her being enslaved in Donara, Etain became lost and a drunk feeling like a failure for not finding Fremea. Now Etain has proven himself and made good friends with others even helping Dorhak and Kiet with new places to live. Teaching the kids and being a role model something she has yet to fully embrace. Being a role model means more responsibility and she likes her freedom. Over the next few days Fremea spends time with Etain and getting to re-know the Elf. Etain realizes she has tried to apologize but the Fae is wired to not say it - yet. But this is fine with Etain. [Janaq 28th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Yesterday Fremea gets a report from a boy in her care that was accosted by a city guard. The guard said he should've been in school and threatened to take him to jail. But the guard tricked the boy into other punishments. Soon the boy was naked in some shed and being spanked like mad. The boy came home with red streaks and crying. Irate Saya convinced her that the guard should not be killed. It would only bring trouble down on them all. Fine! Death is too good. She spend the first few hours tracking down where this guard lived thanks to her magic and powers of fascination. After a quick drop in the brothel and some stained clothing - she won't admit it wasn't Mae - she starts her plan. In her disguise as a young girl she knocks on the door. As expected his wife opens the door. Fremea hands her a note. She reads it saying that she is summoned to the Cafe Marqi - a fancy cafe. Seems his husband planned a special treat. She should stay there and enjoy the play at the place that will be performed. Course thanks to her special powers of persuasion she gets the owner to pay for it then recalls that he never agreed to it after a few hours of her visit. There she has a planned note to arrive to say the husband is called away but she should eat and enjoy the show. The wife rushes inside to change and rushes into town. Fremea smiles at the gullible human. She then goes around back and picks the lock to the window. She hauls in her newly acquired gear - thanks to some shopping "spree" - if only she used coins. She goes to work hovering and zipping around the house. Three houses later she orders the 3 men she fascinated to help her out of the house and forget their help. She examines her work and grins. Then exits and cleans up any trace of her being here. She waits in a nearby tree for the fun. Almost 3 hours later the wife finally returns. She opens the door and steps inside and faints. When she wakes she runs off to the barracks without even closing the door. Twenty minutes later the pervert guard and his wife arrive. The guard is saying, "were you drinking? Surely you are not seeing this correctly..." Then he steps inside and his jaw drops. Inside every bit of furniture is hanging from the roof upside but if one were to sit in the upside chairs your head would be to the ground. Everything even the sofa and heavy oak table - thanks to the borrowed labor force - is on the ceiling upside down. Exactly as it was when it was right side up. The only things not changes are the windows, fireplace and doors. Fremea giggles when the guard begins to curse enough to make a sailor blush. The man tries to pry things off the ceiling but finds them in place due to nails or ropes. Then Fremea smiles when the wife finds the clothing. They were "hidden" in a box by the cupboard which happened to slip and fall down. Soon accusations are passing back and forth. Fremea is happy and finally leaves shortly after feeling a bit better. [Janaq 30th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts a luck spell and then a Knowledge spell to learn more on reading and writing. [Janaq 31st, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck, insubstantiability, levitate and a random teleport spell. She ends up inside a men's only bathhouse with 30 guys and a dozen or so boys. She has never seen so many appendages in her life in one place. There are comments like - "do you see that?" "all I see is steam" "you imagined it." "No seen flying thing over there." Fremea levitates out of the room before she becomes slid and in a bad place. [Febris 1st, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Today Corona finds Fremea and they fly again mid afternoon. Fremea tries to learn more about where the mysterious eagle is from and his relationship with Lady Varo. But the eagle remains aloof and quiet. Fremea asks how he can tie as a tonah to Z'leyra if he is not really from this area. He explains it is more a connection and trust than a pure natural tonah tie. But it is in the end the same thing. Corona is sad to have heard about Fisherking's death - Z'leyra's first eagle at the hands of the gargoyles on Clima. That even should've broken any natural tie But things happen to alleviate that. Things even Corona doesn't understand. [Febris 4th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] The warm ends when a cold front comes with snow. But Fremea heads to down to play more pranks. First thing Fremea does is spot a food vendor. They are very common selling jerky, peanuts, fruit and such. But there are 3 kids watching the vendor very hungry looking. These kids are not in her group but they look to be tourist with parents who are on business. She inspects the food and quietly casts a spell then reaches and touches the vendor. Who immediately falls asleep in his chair. Fremea raises her voice saying the man is snoring what a way to run a business and grabs a pear and walks away. She glances back to see the boys and others storming the stall and snatching food. Next she spots a old man she has seen before. He is known to wear fancy hats. She follows the man into a tavern for lunch and watches as he places his coat and hat in the coat room. Then she enters the closet and casts a quick spell on the hat to transmute into a old looking bag not a fancy hat. The man will be upset but it will change back in a few hours surely after he leaves the tavern. [Febris 7th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck, insubstantiability, levitate and a blind random teleport. Fremea ends up about 100 feet over the sea near the docks. [Febris 8th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea flies with Corona again and watches as the eagle tracks a rabbit. The eagle could use his magical eyes to take out the rabbit but finds it cheating. So he simply uses stealth, claws and speed. Fremea is fascinated by the skills of the hunt. [Febris 9th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea makes some low grade poisons yesterday and gathers the powder as well as other powders she obtained yesterday at various shops. She then heads to town. She then enters a popular tavern invisible. She then douses the food that is ready for table delivery with the powders. She made enough for a half dozen people. When she sees one of her plates go to a kid though she accidentally makes the plate fall and crash. No need to make a kid a victim. Now visible she eats a bowl of soup and waits. Soon people become sick throwing up and runing to the outhouse. Fremea suddenly stands and shouts she is leaving to a better place like Cholan's tavern and views the name of his place then rushes out. Later on she spends the afternoon spreading various powders at benches, vendor stalls and horse saddles. Soon folks are sneezing, coughing and itching out of control. [Febris 10th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck and then knowledge to gain more reading and writing skills. [Febris 11th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts Luck, then teleport onto a wooden disk she made recently followed by ward pact to bind it. She repeats the teleport and ward spell for the last disk. Fremea then heads to down in her girl disguise. She looks for 2 more victims. It doesn't take long for to find the first one. A merchant from a village to the west is trying to break into the ale market. He has a small keg on his back hoping to sell his ale for test drinks. The man is clearly laden down by the weight but is eager. Fremea talks to the man and tells him she knows of a place he might find some luck. She then hands him one of the wooden disks. The man is then teleported right in front of Cholan's tavern. The man a bit confused shrugs and notices customers inside drinking through the window. He enters to find the owner of the tavern. A couple hours later Fremea spots a young girl in her early 20s crying slightly. Fremea asks and she explains no one will give her a chance to sing regularly in their place. Fremea tries to cheer her up and asks to do some of her singing for the two of them. The girl quietly sings and it is very good. Fremea tells the girl that Fremea sent her and give her a chance. All she has to do is grab the opportunity. Then holds out the last wooden disk in front of the girl. The girl is reluctant but grabs it and is teleported to Cholan's tavern. [Febris 14th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck which fails, insubstantiability, levitate and a blind random teleport. She ends up about a mile inside a pig market pen. The pigs go crazy and squael. Fremea is glad she can't smell the mess. She floats away. In her spare time Fremea has made 2 small items. The first is a simple chain of flimsy metal from her jeweler skill. The second is with help from her dad a round wooden platforom like a saucer holder for a table. Her skills in the art of wood isn't that great so its a bit mis-shaped but it will work. Today she casts luck, marbles and then places the spell using a ward pact on the chain. Next she casts a communicate spell 4 times and a ward pact onto the wooden disk. For help she uses some of the kid's voices. Before dawn Fremea wakes and heads to town with some tools. She finds a glass shop and ensures no one is around then uses her tools to remove the door bell chain. The bell to warn the clerks of new customers arriving. She then closes the door and leaves waiting. An hour later from the roof of a nearby herbal tea shop she watches. The owner comes in from a back door and unlocks the open doors. There are 2 doors so chances of using one door is 50/50. But most by instinct use the right door which she didn't touch. She watches one customer leave and use the right odor. Then another leaves and exits the left door with a box. Suddenly the chain ward activates and a slew of marbles drop from the chain. At the same time the man steps through the door. The marbles trip the man and the box goes flying. Now on his back he begins to yell. The man then yells due to his broken glass mugs. The owner is very confused by this turn of events. Claiming boys must've played marbles and sweeps the marbles away. The owner rushes the man inside with apology to give new mugs. Soon a messenger enters the left door with a bag full of scrolls sticking out of his bag. The marbles drop again and he falls to the ground with scrolls flying all over the place. The owner is confused again not seeing any boys here and apologizes. Fremea knows it may be days before he can figure out what is causing it. By then there should be more fun for the shop. It will only happen a couple times a day so it will be hard to find. Fremea enters a high end clothing shop. She has staked the Silks and dresses here are silver and gold valued not copper and brass bits. The place is already packed this time of day. She finds the small statue of a swan near the door. She replaces the platform under the status with her own deftly while no one is looking. She then heads to a corner to wait. Soon a customer enters. The ward of the platform activates and a voice of a teen boy says, "here comes another sucker!" Fremea giggles. The customer a thin old lady looks around a bit upset but can't figure out the source. Soon a older woman in her 40s enters and the ward activates once more. This time a small girl's voice says, "does she really think she can wear a size 3?" The slightly plump woman exits in a huff. Fremea knows there are at least 2 more voices including "that looks awful on you!" As well as in a whisper "clothes here have fleas!" The owner should find it faster than the chain but it will only work twice a day so chances are it will take a few days. Before Fremea leaves Fremea douses clothing with sticky powder from a herbal shop. She places the powder in clothing at various places to make it stick in certain places inside and outside. Then she leaves. That should teach the jerk who uses kids to sew all the clothing with little if any pay and long hours. [Febris 15th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea spends a few hours flying with Corona. The eagle teaches Fremea to use the heat thermals to their advantage. [Febris 18th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 12:25 pm] Fremea is flying from the market toward her warehouse when she spots a fire snake. She has seen them before with Caladan and his own fire snake. The red flying viper is deaf. She is unsure if this is Caladan's but doubtful since he is in Maren City. She avoids the snake as they can be quite nasty and painful. [Time: 11:14 pm] Fremea is flying from the library after spending time with Kaylle. She was trying to research covertly her special relic. But the result is not hopeful. The humans seem to have millions of such relics as common as jewels in a dragon's lair. As she flies she spots a set of creatures circling a passenger wagon. From the darkness she can see they are dragon or lizard like. But then she notices the distinctive tails. Both creatures are about 7 feet in length and she knows what they are now as the group battled them before - Wyverns. Inside the covered wagon a family is screaming for help. But Fremea can see what appears to be the driver dead or down on the side. Based on the creatures probably dead. Fremea hovers and reaches into her bag. This is very risky as if she is killed by these things it will be fast. She pulls out the relic and activates the Kotothi defense spell. She can feel a sizzle around her but does not see anything. The spell is said to be a defense against Kotothi. She then places relic back in bag and pulls her bow and arrow. She casts a arrow spell and flies forward for attack range. She casts luck before she fires. Then she fires. The arrow splits into multiple ones for 6 arrows in total. Two of the arrows miss. But 4 arrows hit Wyvern #1 doing 1, 7, 3 and 15 points of damage past his tough hide. Both Wyverns turn and sense the Sidh creature and savor the kill. They fly toward Fremea who tries to dodge. The second one misses completely. But the wounded one tries its tail attack to kill the fae. As the tail strikes over his head it sizzles on the shield made by the relic. It doesn't penetrate. Fremea is grateful but has no clue how long it will last or how strong the shield is. Fremea fires on Wyvern #2 and 5 arrows miss the agile beast but one hits doing 4 points of damage. This time Wyvern #1 misses but #2 does hit Fremea in the back but the relic's shield blocks the attack. Fremea fires on #1 again with 5 arrows hitting the wounded creature doing 7, 6, 1, 4 and 3 points of damage. But the creature is already badly wounded so it is overkill. The creature slams into the ground dead. Wyvern #2 misses as he tries to attack Fremea again. Fremea fires another volley of arrows with 1 missing and the rest doing 3, 1, 3, 6 and 18 points to the creature. The last arrow in the left eye is the final damage to kill the creature as it falls to the ground. Fremea lands and checks the driver and he is indeed dead. She yells to the passengers the danger is over but she will go find some help to pick them up. She then flies off to find folks on the street to get help for the wagon. Then she flies home to her own place. So the shield works but she has no idea on its properties fully. [Febris 19th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea heads to town in her dress disguise for more pranks. Her mother doesn't like her doing them but her father gets a kick out of them as well as the kids. She finds a eating area with a open patio full of customers. She spots a large plant near 3 tables full of folks eating breakfast. From the to her side of the table she casts a transmute spell onto the plant to make it a nice hungry plant with vines that can reach and grab. Soon the plant begins to swipe sausage, eggs, bread or anything it can with its 5 vines. The females scream and run away as the males just stare at the creature batting at it with their hands not wanting to lose a good meal. Later Fremea finds 3 horses nicely adorned with fancy saddle and bags. Clearly owners are rich or nobles. She reaches in her bag and pulls out several carrots and apples. She offers the horses the tasty treats if they will do a favor. She explains her plan directly in the horse language. The horses agree and welcome the treats. Soon three men exit the mining shop and mount up. As they turn to ride away on a horse suddenly prances back and forth while the rider tries to control it. Then the second one bucks and knocks his rider off to his butt. The third not wanting to be out done walks a few feet and bucks his ride off into the water trough used by horses. The rich man in nice silks yells at the horses. As he stands dripping he reaches for his whip. But the second man demands he will not beat the horses. He glances down the street to a city guard who is approaching. Fremea then hopes the men do not beat the horses later. She regrets trying this prank as it could backfire for the horses. [Febris 20th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 2:36 pm] While flying today Fremea spots 2 more fire snakes. She wonders if this is the same one from the previous days. She avoids them and lets them fly looking for food. [Febris 21st, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 5:04 am] Fremea wakes up due to thunder. She exits her private home and watches a storm from the south. But then she notices a form in the clouds flying with bit of moon rays shining with the lightning. She figures it is a dragon. Based on the storm around it that it is probably a storm dragon. But as long as it isn't bothering the city she'll leave it alone. Later that day she teaches the kids some martial arts. Fremea casts luck which fails, insubstantiability, levitate and another blind teleport. This time Fremea ends up in a housee where a dad is beating his son for not eating his vegetables. Fremea unfurl her insubstantiability to full width and uses her ghostly voice to say that if he beats the boy any more she will haunt and harm him deeply! The man shocked by this runs to the bedroom and locks the door. Fremea winks to the boy who grins. Then Fremea floats toward the bedroom and says if the boy is hurt in any way he will find pain. The man cowers behind a bed night stand. Then Fremea levitates out of the home before becoming solid. Later that night Fremea casts luck and luck and a knowledge spell to learn more reading and writing skills. [Febris 22nd, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea spends another few hours today flying with Corona. [Febris 23rd, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 6:02 am] Fremea is flying toward Kiet's manor. The party has seen Jinn but she has not directly seen these large creatures with claws and long fans. They circle the campfire high above with bat like wings. In the camp she notices a half dozen humans stirring about to break camp for the morning. She figures this isn't her business. These creatures are powerful and she doesn't have her relic. She is about to turn to fly away to have them deal with it but then she hears a child's laugh from the camp. The creatures will surely attack and eat all of them if they wanted including the kid. She can't have that. Fremea sighs and pulls a arrow from her quiver and grabs her bow. She casts a spell on the first arrow to hopefully make it multiple copies. She then fires once in close range on the unsuspecting Ifreet. Three of the arrows from the magically duplicated first arrow hits the second beast doing 7 and 2 points. The third one hits the creature's shoulder doing 14 points. The creatures turn and screech causing those below to hear this and scatter for the tents. Fremea knows these creatures are probably faster so she will have to stay and fight. Ifreet #1 claws at Fremea as it dives and hits her in the beck doing 1 point of damage past her armor. The second one does the same but doesn't penetrate her armor. Fremea does some acrobatic flying as she aims at Ifreet #1 and fires. Three of the six arrows hit the creature doing 4, 4 and 9 points of damage. Ifreet #1 fails to hit Fremea but the second one does in her left leg doing 2 more points of claw damage. Half of the six arrows hit Ifreet #1 as Fremea fires again doing 3, 4 and 6 more points. Fremea does more acrobatic dives, spirals and rolls as she dodges both creature attacks. Five of the six arrows hit Ifreet #1 as Fremea fires again doing 5, 5, 3, 5 and 4 more points each. This is enough to kill the creature as it falls to the gear the campfire. The last Ifreet hovers and casts a spell and throws a energy web right onto Fremea. The energy covers the Fae completely. She tries to struggle to free herself but the magic's strength is too great. She begins to lose height as she can't flap her wings. Then gravity kicks in and she falls 30 feet to the ground. She takes another point of damage from the blow as she is able to twist at the last second to avoid a serious break in her legs. The Ifreet lands and scowls at the captured Fremea. Fremea realizes this is it. One or two claws and she is dead and she can't fight back. This is how it ends. Then from a tent she notices a boy peering out then dart back. "You gotta help her!" "No those freaks are tall." Fremea sighs knowing that the humans will be next. She could teleport away but it would leave the family defenseless. The Ifreet stands over Fremea and drool falls on the ground as he bleeds from his own wounds. Then suddenly the boy bursts from the tent and begins to shout. The boy grabs a piece of burning log and approaches the creature 4 times its height. Fremea yells for him to flee and run into the darkness. But the boy seems to ignore her. The adults realize the boy is gone and exit the tent hiding shovels, daggers and a rusty sword. Now there are 3 adult males with 2 females. It will be a slaughter. Fremea tells them to flee now. The females grab the boy as the creature lunges for the boy. All three males seem to hit legs and thighs. One doesn't penetrate the Ifreet's armor but the other 2 do 1 point with shovel and 8 with the rusty sword. The creature turns to swipe at the second male and misses. One male yells to get the females and boy away now. Then all three lunge one more time. The third man with the rusty sword does 8 more points. The Ifreet wounded takes to the sky and circles. Fremea knows it will just pelt the camp with spells. Sure enough a few seconds later the man with the rusty sword is hit by a energy web and colalpses from the web. The Ifreet dives toward the man with the shovel and casts a spell. The Psychic Hammer slams into the man and he falls straight into the grass stunned. The females grab the boy and run into the darkness. Now there is just one human male wow looks at his friends and runs the other way. Now to be a coward but to ensure the creature follows him and not the females. The creature does just this as it chases the male like a cat and mouse. Fremea's web ends and she leaps to the sky and chases after the Ifreet. Fremea fires at medium range her bow the arrow. The multiple arrow spell ended so she forgo to recast it in her haste. The arrow hits the creature in the back doing the final damage to kill him. The creature falls to the ground. Fremea lands and ensures it is dead by cutting the throat. Then without a word flies to the camp to ensure the other one is dead then flies off. Based on the reactions of the males she would not be so welcome back at the camp. But at least the boy was not fearful of her. [Febris 25th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea heads to town to do more pranks. Inside a tavern she eats some hot bread and soup. Then sits back and quietly casts a spell. Suddenly a sonic boom escapes her mouth and shakes the rafters. Fremea covers her mouth and curses herself saying she didn't mean to burp that hard. Later at a park she watches a entertainer doing some light non-magic magic. Sleight of hand, magic disappearing balls and the like. Once it goes to the end where the man pulls out 3 doves. He explains the doves will fall over the audience and drop balls at once into his hands. The trick is to catch them all and then juggle them as the birds try to grab them back up and fly away. Fremea stands to the side and waits then casts a quick spell. Suddenly a sonic blast exits her hands as the birds reach the man's body. The birds freak out from the sonic blast and go flying away dropping balls. The man is confused and wonders where the noise came from. Fremea quickly moves away before they find it was her. [Febris 28th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 1:32 am] Fremea is jerked awake from glass breaking in her home. She leaves her bedroom and sees a creature climbing into the window. Fremea heads back into her bedroom and grabs her dagger. Going back to the main room she sees a second creature entering the window. The first creature Fremea recognizes right away. Gargoyles. Bold creatures to enter here unless they were directed to do so. The first is carrying a spear and second a sword. They rush Fremea. Both gargoyles attack Fremea but both miss. Fremea swings at #1 but her dagger slips from her fingers and flies toward the kitchen cupboard. Fremea curses to her fumble and changes tactics. But before she can both creatures hit her doing 3 points with spear in her left rib and 5 with the sword in her left hip. She flinches back in pain. More hits like that and she'll be dead. Especially since she has no armor on. Bleeding badly she ducks and weaves moving toward her bow and quiver she grabs both and dives for the broken window. She dives outside to freedom. The creatures rush to the window as Fremea grabs her quiver and takes to the night sky. The dumb creatures exit the window rather than the door and take a few seconds to exit. Fremea hides in the tree nearby and casts a healing spell on herself. It heals the first wound completely. She then casts a spell on the an arrow and knocks her bow. The duplicated arrows fly toward the second creature which just stood up. Three of the 6 arrows hit. It takes 6, 5 and 5 points and falls to the ground. The other creature who exited first spots Fremea and flies toward her. Fremea fires again at this creature hitting with 4 doing 9, 1, 5, and 9 points killing the creature before it can reach her. Fremea leaves the tree and finds #1 dead but #2 still alive. She kicks it a few times in the head until it dies She then with some minor effort drags and flies the bodies away so the neighbors don't notice. . Fremea cleans up the broken glass and decides its time to add some home defenses. [Marqi 2nd, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] IN the morning Fremea flies with Corona. But as she heads to town to do more pranks a huge thunder storm arrives and makes the streets deserted. She is forced to head back to her warehouse and forget pranks for today. [Marqi 3rd, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts luck, insubstantiability, levitate which fails and a blind teleport. This time she ends up in the sky about 500 feet up. She waits for the spell to end and becomes solid and flies away. [Marqi 7th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts Luck and then knowledge to gain more reading and writing skills. [Marqi 8th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea places some itching powder in a merchant's stall full of scarves. But before Fremea can leave and watch the fun a city guard grabs her. "I saw that!" The guard grabs both arms of Fremea and walks her away. "Time for you to see the judge!" Fremea fights back and tries to stomp her boot on his foot to free herself. "Trying to escape and hit a officer! More charges." Fremea gives up her luck has run out. They march down the street and Fremea speaks to a horse tied up. She asks the horse to kick backwards on the count of 4. At 4 the horse kicks backwards and trips the guard. Fremea once free runs and runs. She goes into a side alley as the guard gives chase. Fremea rips off her dress and leaps over the tall wall at the end of the alley and around the corner flying away. The guard rounds the corner but stops when he sees no Fremea any longer. Fremea decides its good to stay low for the rest of the day and skip any other pranks. [Marqi 10th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea casts her usual luck, insubstantiability, levitate and a blind random teleport spell. This time she ends up inside a basement somewhere and levitates up and out. [Marqi 11th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea and Corona fly for a few hours. They have fun and dive bomb toward Kiet in his garden and tease him. That morning Fremea is invited, as well as other party members, to Cholan's for a birthday party for Kes. She is dressed in her best dress and hair all made up nicely. She dances a bit with Cholan's son and eats teh light snacks served. It is getting late so she departs but finds herself still hungry. She looks for a nice tavern. Most places don't seem to like her in the natural state - all wings. She ignores those places. There are a few that don't care. She nears one such place a older woman runs it called the Rose Petal. As she passes the window she is shocked to see Kaylle sitting at a window table with NO books. He is sipping on tea. Even at Unali's birthday party he had books. She wonders if something is wrong. She enters and finds him. "Oh hello Fremea!" Kaylle smiles. "Good to see you. I was tired today and just wanted a nice meal. Join me! I was about to order." Fremea smiles and the Faerry twitches his wings slightly in anticipation. A good sign. They order a nice wine and nice food. Kaylle leans over and begins to ask about her and her kids. Odd not even a subject like history of magical frogs? He actually is not talking about himself or those books. Fremea then notices the Faerry has nice blue eyes as he asks about her parents. The sun sets and 4 hours later the tavern empties. The owner tells Kaylle to yell when they leave she needs to unlock and finish the dishs. Another 2 hours pass as they talk. Then Kaylle escorts Fremea to her home. [Marqi 12th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] [Time: 7:49 pm] Fremea flies next a black hawk and watches as he dives and catches a fish in the small pond near the town center. [Marqi 13th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea had plans to do more pranks today but a boy in the warehouse fell in a basement when the rotten floor boards caved in. He was exploring the abandoned home. Fremea takes the boy to a healer for treatment and this takes a few hours. Fremea casts luck, insubstantiability which fails, levitate which fails and this time does a controlled sight to sight teleport up. [Marqi 14th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Corona flies with Corona a few more hours. She considers flying to see Farseeker but he is just too far and would take a day or two. Fremea casts luck and knowledge to gain more reading and writing skill wisdom. She waves and yells for the female faerry to wait up. But the female turns around and goes invisible. Fremea sighs and figures the female is scared of new folks? [Marqi 20th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] Fremea heads to town for more pranks. She uses her fascination spell to compel folks to randomly paint a shop green. Then later she compels moneylender to give a 5 silver bonus to every client who will drop by today. [Time: 11:39 pm] At her home Fremea is tending to a roof tile from storm damage when she spots a Merkbah in the skies flying past. It has been about 3 months since she last saw one This one seems to ignore her as he flies over. [Marqi 19th, 1636TH, Sivas, Marentia] After the gargoyle home invasion a month ago, Fremea has been thinking of ways to ward her place. Z'leyra has talked about her manor wards but they are limited. Sure they warn her by a sending spell but what if you're too far away? I mean those mana ball messages Kiet does might be better. But Fremea has neither spells. She can only ward with what spells she has. She decides on a 5 or 6 step process ward. Her home is small compared to the others. But she liked how Chion did his home with no doors. Why do teleporters need doors? She does have a roof hatch with the door lock inside. She has to activate a pre set ward to unlock the hatch or just teleport inside. She has only 2 windows so the wards are limited for entry. First she makes a wooden slab for the ceiling. It will be placed strategically between roof hatch and the 2 windows. So there is enough range for the wards. She paints a elaborate rune set on to it and hammers it into place. First she has to place a detect spell to detect the thief and which entry he or she was at. Once this is done the ward will cast paralysis to stop the thief. Then the ward will teleport a hidden bag behind the outhouse which is just a bag of sand. It will teleport said sand without bag 10 feet above the detected person - give or take a foot or two. But as the sand falls the ward transmutes the sand into bright purple paint. The paint will then hopefully land and shine brightly on the paralyzed thief. Next step the ward will teleport a scroll right on the thief. Fremea treated each of the 3 scrolls with sticky tape to stay in place. The three scrolls - enough for up to 3 thieves - is a nice letter. It explains to the City Guard that this thief tried to break into her home. With given address. This person should be jailed for that reason. Then Fremea gives details to contact Etain and his address. That he should go with the guard to her home as he'll be able to prevent the same wards happening all over again. She would have her parents but the guard might not respect Faerry as much. Plus if Fremea is away Etain can represent her. Fremea stores 3 bags of sand but figures the ward at most may only go off twice. So if there are more than 2 thieves they may still get in. But a good thief can still get into any place. Maybe she'll try to track down Balrog the Thief and see if he can break into her place. Finally the ward will teleport the thief to the nearest barracks guard post. She places the location between bushes and the wall but still can be seen so there will be less danger for the thief - unless the bushes grow bigger and he teleports with the bushes in him. So even if by chance he were to escape the paralysis the paint should be a good beacon for those who watch him. Finally she places the single ward - since it has long range on the wooden piece. She casts Detection, Paralysis, Teleport, Transmute, Teleport and then finally ward pact to seal the spells. All the spells seem to cast successfully.
