Post from Arawn on actions... To: Subject: RE: Game Update #268 Date: Mon, 24 Dec 2012 15:43:11 -0500 The flood of knowledge, the insight gained through the connection to the Brain was something beyond what mere words could describe and in another place, another time Arawn would have loved to learn it all and travel to the countless worlds that flashed in his mind but, sadly, he knew that this was not to be. The portals needed to be sealed if both worlds, and perhaps more, were to be saved and time was now almost up. The Brain had agreed to let this world live and in the process it offered a chance to save the Vong. Death at the party's hands would have only saved the Middle World and the Vong would be left to dark age which had fallen upon them but the willing sacrifice of the Brain offered hope for change, for healing, and the alfar, though sad to see another creature die, was glad for the hope this action offered to the Vong. He looked with sad eyes upon the Brain and then to Omini before turning back to Unali and Chion. "The Brain will help us and it knows time is short." He turned back to Omini and the Brain. "Jacen was wise and now so are you," he sent to the Brain. "Show this one," Arawn said, indicating Omini, "where to take the portion and how to grow it. Then when you are whole teach him, help him bring peace to your world." Arawn wondered if there was any way to express his gratitude but he felt that a simple 'thank you' would not suffice, if the Brain understood. But then he thought of one thing, simple but perhaps never experienced by the Brain before, and projected all his thoughts of love and compassion for both the Brain and Omini to experience, hoping it would be a gift they could appreciate. With that done he stepped back to allow Omini to take the portion of the Brain needed, helping him if possible. "Now, please, shut down the gravity-generator," he said. "And we will seal the other gate as well."
