Zabyra bows formally to Kiet.
"I could not possibly accept so precious an offer. I am but a
peasant from a distant land and am not worthy." If Kiet offers
a second time, then Zabyra says: "You honor me. I will strive
to be wield this blade with authority." If Kiet takes the sword
away, then Zabyra nods and says nothing further.

After the demonstration, Kiet isn't happy. Cutting the rope was a bad idea. Still, it's just a length of rope.

And, the demonstration was good.

Kiet says "Well, interesting." Kiet still isn't smiling. Still, it was what he wanted to see. "So, is the sword still something you might like to use?"
