First       she puts on her luck ring, then will bandage the champion.       After bandaging is complete she will put on her other jewelry,       fetch her staff and drum, cast Orient Self EL0 on herself, loop       the spell chain over her and Korsa's wrists and cast Healing at       ELmax through her staff to heal Korsa.       She figures that a purification spell won't be needed. As       usual, she will give a running commentary, this time in Kameri,       to teach those interested in watching and learning.      GM: Ack.      From Pyan: [Re: Home]      Pyan says, "I come from the East, the lands of Omavor,"...      GM: Ack. If you were waiting for a back/forth translation just        post as much as you want dialogue wise. Stuff like this        translation will be done. Just a FYI.      From Kiet:[Re: [Re: Manly stuff]       The evening before the challenge, Kiet is curious about...       "I'm thinking about going to the Lodge with the men. C'mon...       Kiet will go but no sword or shield. Only weapons will be       daggers plus magic trinkets. H takes off his armor and helm       to leave in the groups camp. If he has any opportunity to       show off his acrobat skills, he will.      GM: Ack.      From Arawn: [Re: Actions]       I was responding from my phone. She will also play around some, with moving items       around, or waiting for someone to put something down and then       moving it further away so they cannot find it right away. Just       fun for her and practice for sleight of hand.      GM: Ack. The challenge was more a test to see why she was so        bold to wear the blade. Even if lost she'd be allowed onward.        She just needed to prove herself to wield it. As to the prank        that's exactly with a kid would do so very little attention        would be paid to you. :) But noted and good stuff.      From Z'leyra: [Re: Actions]       After casting Healing on the Champion, Z'leyra will cast       Healing at Max EL on herself.      GM: Ack. Healed all but 1.      From Dorhak: [Re: Actions]       Dorhak is a bit restless and looking to work off some...       "I'm going to visit the men in their lodge. Maybe they ...      GM: Ack. I think I mixed this and next post up. But the        general gist is still there.      From Kiet: [Re: Tea]       After he tries the tea, Kiet eyebrows go up in ...       Z'leyra and asks her "Z'leyra...do you know what they ..      GM: Ack.      From Z'leyra: [Re: Actions]       Z'leyra smiles, then replies to Arawn's question. Where language failed to       meet kind eyes and a warm smile, sometimes spreading into a       full grin, did what they could to foster a connection between       the Kameri and the druid. And true to his nature, he made sure       not to forget the animals as well, whether local or familiar.       And all the while he took in his surroundings, reading the       people, seeking to understand their ways beyond the stories       hard or read prior to his arrival. That most of the men stood       back watching was something he did not fail to miss, Arawn       wondering if this was an issue of societal roles or the wary       attention of a warriors lodge. But he remained unsure for       now, opting for a warm if subdued presence while here, hoping       to garner respect from all facets of the culture.        As things began to settle down Arawn took some time to sip       the spiced tea, inquiring into the ingredients, while listening       to the constable's efforts to enlighten the group to Kameran       culture. Arawn had spent some time reading books on the Kameri       alongside conversations with Z'leyra, hoping to use the       knowledge towards diplomatic ends, or at least to avoid a social       faux pas. He kept quiet through the speech, sensing that Z'leyra       might speak up if corrections were in order, though his       brilliant blue-green eyes narrowed slightly when Utgard's       possible worship was mentioned.        "Z'leyra, is that true, is Utgard worshiped among your       people?"        Z'leyra smiles, then replies to Arawn's question. "The men       of the Kameran learned to worship Ashur and Vahagn. The women       of the Kameran, we worship older gods and do not speak of them       to any who are not Kameri women."        A chill wind sent Arawn's midnight locks to whip about his       fair face, a solemn smile escaping from the sidh.        "It has been some time since you were last here and I hope       all is as it was when you left. If the Great Serpent's brood       has crept into these mountains it would be a poor thing indeed       But I'm sure such is nothing more than rumors from the road.       Still, it has been some time and other things may have changed       in your absence. Perhaps it may be wise to speak with Irana or       another before setting out tomorrow."        The smile shifted, softening into one of inspiration and       support that had become familiar to those who had traveled with       him. He seemed to settle back in as banter and conversation       continued about him though the reflected firelight betrayed       the depths of his eyes beginning a pensive retreat for those       astute enough to notice.        At hearing Z'leyra's response to Arawn's question, Mae rolls       her eyes and fights the urge to give a derisive snort. While       she understood the desire to worship something greater than       one's self, Maelorna found little use in pleading or begging       for what to her would be denied.        'Ooh, how about that one?' the voice, the one thing she didn't       want to hear at the moment makes Mae wince, 'you promised, a       town or city' it demanded. 'Well if not that one, how about       that one?' the voice pleads, 'you promised, once we got to a       town or village.' it demands. She whispers to herself in       desperation, "No, shut.. shut up now. This isn't a city or a       town." and pulls the cowl of her cloak closer over her head to       hide her face, finding her enjoyment being near the throng of       people less than desirable, and she starts to look for one of       her companions, if only to use their familiarity and closeness       to keep her from doing something stupid, as she gave her word.        Mae sees Lucria sitting on the ground near Fuk. A nice       warm body to be around.        The newcomer's eye-roll caught Arawn's insightful attention,       her derision rolling like waves for the empath to feel. His       mind shot back to the night of the battle, when her summoning       went awry, her derision thinly veiled that night. Contempt,       anger, fear, impulse, insecurity... intense emotions roiled       within her, multiplying and feeding on themselves. He had seen       enough in his time, heard a portion of her own story, and gauged       from her bearing enough to sense that at the root of this was       pain. It was a poison that threatened to consume the soul and       a difficult one to remove - in a lifetime of disappointment       only pain was a constant, a twisted security-blanket that       smothered those wrapped within. Others might offer tools,       friendship or love but only the woman could save herself, if       she so chose and then struggle to face the demons of her past.        Some among the group, such as Fremea, had carried that burden,       but had, and continued, to work on their being. Perhaps it would       be one of them that might reach her, with whom she might relate       and connect. And in time he might even be able to share the       little things he had learned as well but for now their time       together was still short and that night likely a poor time for       such things. So for now he gave her a glance and a knowing smile       before turning his attention elsewhere.        Maelorna continues to move away from the throng of people,       unaware of her motions, easily moving with a dancer's grace to       a beat of a song she can only hear. Her stride is steady and       slow, while each step, her hips move as if to cause a priest       to give up their vows. She looks about to locate one of her       companions, hoping at least to find the fae.        What question she would ask the fae, nothing comes to mind.       'Maybe just to be with someone that knows what it means to have       to hide in plain site.' she muses.        Mae stops as she sees a large man with a nice knife behind       Arawn's tent. The man is staring at her so she ignores that       for now. But the red head notices how Fremea seems to pass       by and just lift the knife off the man's belt with such ease       that she is practically invisible. Fremea examines the knife       only briefly and then slips it deftly into a woman's bag who       is collecting food scraps. The leather sack now becomes the       home of the shiny blade.        Fremea notices Irana and a man approach so stops her fun and       sits by the fire. Mae joins her and smiles at the being who       has wings that must be hidden.        Soon Irana and Chief Ohalo arrive to speak to Z'leyra.        Arawn met Irana and Ohalo with reserved respect, though he       did glance at the cosmic symbols marking the woman's robes as       he sought to divine their meaning and affiliation. Afterwards,       after Z'leyra offered them to the locals, he helped to bring       forth a portion of the gifts set aside for the Kameri, though       he kept a package to himself for the time being. Only after       Z'leyra's story came to a close did he prepare to present it.       Just before Irana departed for the evening he stepped forward       and gave her a kind smile before offering the gift, a complete       healer's kit that the woman might use to heal the aches of the       hard-working members of her village.        Irana accepts the gift with a bit of hesitation. Then she       opens it to inspect the contents. "This is a kind gift. Thank       you. While I am not a healer we do have a healer in town that       could get great benefit from this."        Unali leans on Arawn's shoulder as she crouches down down       next to Arawn and the fire. She has a gloomy tone to her       voice.        "I know you are concerned, for her and for your own. But she       is tense as well and shows it. She must walk a tight rope       between her family ties and the woman she has become by       traveling far. Just remember, she has always shown to choose       the wild, not the old. And we are all here to watch out for her."        Unali pulls up the hood of her cowl so her face becomes       partially hidden in the shadows. After that she silently stares       into the fire and watches the play of light and dark as the fire       burns on.        The assassin was a subtle one, not drawn to calling attention       to herself or her actions. Arawn followed suit, looking ahead       instead of turning around when Unali whispered in his ear. His       lips barely moved as he uttered an almost imperceptible response       meant only for the woman's perceptive ears.        "I've seen things in the space between dreams and the waking       world. Contention... shrouded, too little to speak of yet for I       do not know its place here but enough to cause concern."        Arawn paused for a brief moment before quietly echoing Unali's       words. "We will watch. For some of us are well suited to it,       quite well suited indeed."                  *******************       [Time: 7:12 pm]        Z'leyra introduces each person. Irana asks about       Pyan's homeland. Z'leyra translates for both.        Pyan says, "I come from the East, the lands of Omavor," then       waits for Z'leyra to translate.        Irana nods warmly, "the Omvar are good people and our close       friends. In times when game is scarce your people even help       us feed our people. While this village has none, there may       be even one or two of you in our lands. Welcome!"                  *******************       [Time: 8:03 pm]        Kiet is curious about what the men might be up to. He decides       to check on that, if for no other reason than to understand       something about the people. It's one of the reasons he travels.        "I'm thinking about going to the Lodge with the men. C'mon,       Kell! Come with me? It might be fun. Besides...maybe you'll       learn what they want to buy!"        Arawn looked toward Fuk when the man sought company for       an excursion towards the mens drinking area. He gave a nod       just as Kiet called out to Kell, his ever curious nature       guiding him to join three as they made their way into the       night.        "Aye, laddie! I'd go along as well. I wonder if they like       to wrestle, arm or full body." Dorhak grunts and licks his lips       eager for maybe more drink.        "Heck, I especially want to know if they want to have a       drinking contest." He smiles, but it just makes him look more       hideous.        Dorhak waits for others to see if they will join.        Dorhak is a bit restless and looking to work off some drink.       Perhaps some of the 'men-things' the warriors do are contests       of strength or skill. He's all about that today.        "I'm going to visit the men in their lodge. Maybe they are       having fun. I want to go look. Anybody wanna join me?"                  *******************       [Time: 8:09 pm]        Fuk, Arawn, Dorhak, Kiet and Kell all leave the camp       heading to find this men's lodge.        While the others stay in camp Z'leyra talks to the       villagers and shares stories. Z'leyra tries to learn       what has gone on for the last decade. But by the end       of the night it is clear this village is isolated. Unlike       the hunters most stay here never leaving. Over the years       traders have tried to come and share their wares. Many have       tried to learn the secrets of the Kameran but were turned       away. Four years ago there was a monster causing havoc on the       surrounding area who took out at least a dozen folks over a two       month period. That is until the women called for help and got       some reinforcements in terms of combat-shamans. One year       mud slides caused a few deaths due to heavy rains. But in all       nothing much has gone on in this particular village.        As the five move through the dark village they only have       the light from inside homes or lodges to guide them. There       are no torches or lanterns to light the way. As huts and       shacks are passed most have windows that families can be       seen relaxing or working like sewing or eating. But the       lodges all have windows that are closed that only allows       subtle line of light to escape. Only muffled voices can be       heard through the thick log walls making the lodges a very       secretive setting for those who pass by.        At this hour only a few are around. There are no streets       just paths. Farmers leading herds or market vendors closing       up and cleaning stalls are seen. At one lodge that does have       open shutters, the group can see a man teaching a lad what       looks to be pottery techniques. But all the other public shops       are closed aside from the one stable in the north.                  *******************       [Time: 8:16 pm]        After some time the only other lodge that seems to have a       great deal of lighting flooding outside seems to be the men's       lodge. Of the five Fuk can't understand a single word. Arawn       can do assured speech but the others can only get simple       requests out. They all know that being here without a fluent       speaker could be dangerous. But they know that someone like       Z'leyra might not be welcome here just as the men would not be       welcome at some of the women's lodges.        Arawn takes the lead and was told to just open the door like       a standard tavern. The Alfar opens the heavy wooden door and       the noise inside suddenly stops completely. Arawn stands in       the shadow of the threshold and steps inside out of the cold.       The lodge is larger than it looks in the darkness outside. it       is about 90-100 feet wide and 60 feet long. To the far left       is a raging fireplace with a mangle adorned with stuffed deer       and great ape heads.        The others come inside and Fuk closes the door trapping the       heat inside. To the far back wall are two things that Dorhak       begins to drool over. There are two machines with large round       circles and tubes of some sort - maybe hard plant stalks or       plant hide tubes? The winding tubes circle and circle downward       and then end over a kettle. Below the kettle is a small fire       that warms the kettle. Dorhak has heard humans making such       contraptions before they call them a still. A place to mix       stuff to make delicious drinks. There are two such stills o       the back wall each seeming to drip and drip to the warm kettle.        To the far right seems to be a open area about 10 by 10 for       an unknown reason. Who knows maybe the men do dancing here       with females? To far right of the wall on same wall as door       are a couple tables. Stacked with meats and various treats.       Arawn frowns that there are no good vegetables but that is the       way of men who relax not wanting to eat well. But there are       plenty of breads, spiced meats, jerky of various kinds and       jugs of some drinks or water as well.        For the rest of the lodge there are round wooden tables or       a few rectangular tables. Each with hard looking wooden       chairs that only men must like. There are around 32-35       men here from quick count at first glance.        Then men all stop and stare at the newcomers. The men       range form upper teens (18+) to men in gray hair probably       in their 50 or 60s. But most are in their mid 20s. Some       are holding mugs, some knives, some eating, some holding       cards, some round objects and some just sitting watching.        The air smells musty but a faint smell of redwood is in       the air from the fireplace. There is a strong scene of       spiced drinks and other booze. A strong smell of body hair       and unclean clothing hangs in the air. But now the entire       place is quiet.        Arawn raises his hands and begins to explain who they       are but a man stands. He begins to move toward the group.       He stands a bit over 5 feet wearing thick leathers that probably       took 8 deer hides to make. The man in his 50s is pudgy maybe 80       pounds overweight. He grunts then smiles. He speaks in       Kameran. "We know who you are. Word travels fast since       your visit this afternoon."        So the words seemed. But to the others it is more like       "We know you. Gossip is fast. Since coming this day       early." Something like that. Arawn tries to translate as       best he can but even he is not fully fluent.        "Welcome." The man looks behind the party and sees no       females. He smiles again. "I am Borah. We do not get       many strangers here. Maybe once every six full moons if       that. You are free to join us and relax."        Dorhak moves to the first still and sniffs. Borah wrinkles       his nose at the smelly small man. "We call it Nomz and that       over there is Pooh."        Arawn frowns and translates it as. "That is Nomz but that       is Prug?" The last word is a bit hard to understand. Borah       tries again. Arawn nods and explains it sounds like "Purge?"       Maybe a nick name of the drink?        Arawn asks about payments but Borah explains they are       a trade and barter community. After some seconds he       says. "Guests are so rare you may drink and eat on us.       Tha t is unless you drink the whole still." He glances       at Dorhak who Is inspecting the brownish broth in the kettle.        Kiet sits at a table with Kell. This causes the men       to start talking and doing their things again. But it       clear the men want to chat and learn but the language       barrier is a issue. Across the table from Kiet is a man       holding a knife. He begins to run it quickly through his       fingers so fast its a blur. He looks up losing even the       sight of the blade as it moves form between fingers and       missing by a hair. He grins showing missing teeth. "Want       to play?"        Fuk and Arawn grab some breads that is not so warm but       looks like garlic is added to it. They sit at another table       where three men are holding what look like playing cards.       But since most in this culture can't read - even probably some       of the women - they do not have numbers. They seem to only       have pictures of animals and beasts. The cards are what look       like very thin but hard parchment soaked in some mixture to       make them hard to hold. The three men then roll what looks       like a round bone die. The single die probably a finger       joint from a ape, is painted with a dot to show a number. While       many may not read they can still tell 3 dots is more than 1 dot       They roll the die and then slam down that many cards on the       table. The other rolls and slams another set of cards based on       the roll. They begin to dicker and talk so fast that Arawn       can't keep up. But it seems some animals and beasts are worth       more than others. In the end the one who drops 3 actually loses       to the one who drops 2. Arawn asks about how to play and       the men seem to ignore him when after 3 more rounds the man       shrugs and begins to explain the card types.        Dorhak asks if they drink a lot. A simple question that       even his limited Kameri gets across  Borah grins and nods. He       dips a large ladle and pours some of the mixture into a job.       Then waves Dorhak over to drink. Borah pours the jug into a       couple of mugs. Dorhak sniffs and then shrugs. He inhales       the drink or half of it. As soon as it hits the throat it       begins to burn and once it hits the stomach it causes his       nerves to frazzle and he swears he sees colors in front of       his eyes for seconds. Dorhak coughs and wipes his lips wit       his sleeve. a very potent drink indeed. Dorhak then juts the       mug to the old man for a second.        Dorah laughs, "drinking aimlessly is no fun. We usually make       it more fun. We drink 5 times then throw knives at each other."       Dorhak tries to understand did he say they throw wives at the       mugs? Why would they throw their wives at mugs that would be       a waste of good drink. Then Borah places a knife on the       table and Dorhak gets the gist. "It is a skill of throwing and       accuracy not to hit the person. Not to kill. You use a knife?"        Use a wife? Why would he be married! Dorhak grunts. Oh.       Knife. The dwarf shakes his head making the bear rustle       on the table top. Dorhak does pull out a hand axe and places       it on the table. Then asks for his 3rd drink.        Dorhak asks if they wrestle?        Borah frowns. "Snuggle? We just met."        Over the din Arawn watches as a Boar-image card beats is       higher over a rabbit. The artist work is well done. But       over the noise he hears this and grunts. He yells out the       word wrestle.        Borah smiles, "yes. But body wrestling would have to       be done outside. " Dorhak rolls up his sleeve and places       his right arm on the table. Borah realizes his meaning       and knows the small man must not be that strong. Even       for a older guy like himself.        Dorhak's hand is slammed to the table. The Dwarf grunts       and didn't even realize it started. But he has three drinks       in him. So he tries again this time more prepared. To be       beat by a old man! Borah's arm is slammed to the table.       Dorhak grunts and grins which makes Borah cringe a bit.        Borah nods and massages his arm, "how about some       younger blood?" He calls over a couple of the young       bucks to play with Dorhak.                  *******************       [Febris 8th, 1635TH]       [Kameran Lands - Kameran Village]       [Time: 5:53 am]        Arawn accepted the food and drink in a most grateful       manner. Discovering the presence of a bark extract in the tea       he asked Z'leyra if she happened to know the particular tree,       his training as an herbalist and forester urging him to expand       his knowledge as wandered this world.                  *******************       [Time: 6:53 am]        After he tries the tea, Kiet eyebrows go up in appreciation.       It's very good and helps clear the sleepiness feeling. He looks       over to Z'leyra and asks her "Z'leyra...do you know what they       put in this tea? I think that it might be a worthy addition       to my plans. I hope to sometime soon make a garden to grow       herbs and other plants." He takes another sip and continues.       "While it might not be useful as magic, I think it might be       useful as something to have around."        Z'leyra responds to Kiet. "Yes, as a knowledge of how to       find, grow, prepare and use herbs is an important part of any       healer's bag of tricks I was taught to be an herbalist as part       of my shamanic training. Indeed my plans for a school of healing       include a herb garden and preparation room. This particular tea       is from..." and she gives a ten minute lecture on local herbs       and the teas made from them.                  *******************       [Time: 7:03 am]        Z'leyra finished speaking of the tea just as the Champion       arrives for the fight.        Kiet stares at the tea. So the herb is from a rare mushroom       lichen mixture found under damp rocks on hill sides? Fremea       and Arawn listen to this and realize the process to collect       must be grueling. To separate the herb hybrid from the rocks       and avoiding animal droppings - or maybe that is the secret       ingredient? But it explains the tangy nature of the tea it       seems. Wait didn't she say that even bird droppings are added       to a spice in this or did he hear wrong? Before he can ask the       challenge begins.                  *******************       [Time: 7:05 am]        Watching the fight, Fremea knew Z would win, though there       were a couple of times it was too close. She wonders if Z had       lost what really would have happened. Would she be denied access       to her own family?        Maelorna watches the fight with little interest, the ringing       sound of metal upon metal, the tang of blood in the cold air       gave her even less enjoyment. Her interest lies more in       watching those about her. The flesh on display was almost a       heady bouquet to her senses. While the language was still as       alien to her as the previous night, she didn't care and was       able to ignore it.        Arawn kept a careful eye on Z'leyra's belongings, hoping for       her win while maintaining an impassive demeanor. And as the       battle closed he joined the shaman, already in the process       of procuring healing items for her to use on the champion as he       crossed the field. He knelt beside her as he assisted, all the       while taking in the lesson as he sought to expand his knowledge       from the elven to human anatomy.        Z'leyra gestures for Arawn to approach with her satchel. As       Arawn approaches he notices some men are staring as if they       are figuring this man to be servant to Z'leyra.        Z'leyra takes the satchel and opens it. Placing her luck       ring, necklace and other gear on herself. She begins to       explain to Korsa what she intends to do.        Z'leyra grabs her drum and begins to tap it gently to       enter into a light trance. This does not surprise many       as those in the know what she is doing. But the men become       a bit agitated.        Irana crosses her arms and watches.        Once in the trance and Korsa's wounds bandaged she casts       her healing spell on the champion. The green magical energy       that is a green haze forms around Korsa's head and leg       as it begins to wrap around and heal. Soon the leg is       fully healed. But as the spell ends there is still just       a slight tent of a cut on her forehead. Z'leyra figures       it healed 99% of her wounds but not fully. She sighs but       unwraps the bandage to ensure no infections.        Irana glances around at the men who are now murmuring       to themselves. She shakes her head at the open use of       magic in such a public place. While the men do know       magic exists and the women are part of it, it is       done in private whenever possible. Now the men will       be nervous for days. Irana makes a note of this and       realizes the test is over.        Korsa flexes her leg and smiles. "A fine job." She       reaches up to her forehead. "A scar?" Z'leyra explains       it will fade with her body probably by tomorrow. Korsa       nods. "A nice challenge." She reaches out to shake her       hand. Kamerans do not tend to shake hands but it seems       the Champion is aware of this custom.        Korsa nods, "now I have a hunt to prepare. See you."       She then runs toward some lodges in the south.        That is when Z'leyra notices the face of Irana. She       looks around and sees the men staring and murmuring.       Sure magic is public but she realizes that the men are       too superstitious.        Irana approaches, "we believe one of your brothers is       in Sharedon village. The other we do not know. You       may want to travel to Kaeran and see if the village       there has information. If you have forgotten I can let       you have a guide. Both villages are to the north west from       here maybe 6-7 miles. I bid you farewell and good luck."        With that Irana leaves but Arawn doesn't need to be       a empath to tell she is a bit upset on the public display       of magic.        As the crowd disperses Z'leyra does a quick healing spell       upon herself. Her wound does heal all but a small bit.        Dorhak comments on how short the fight was.        Kiet hears the ugly dwarf spout off about how short the       fight was. He has to say something.        "A real fight is over quickly if someone skilled is involved.       Only battles, with many men, take a long time."        Unali can't help but smile at this. The person who hid behind       the group in the flying island is talking about combat like       a warrior.        Kiet turns to Z'leyra and says. "Congratulations! I thought       you were in trouble after that first cut. Then I cringed when       you whacked her in the head. I was not real sure what the tribe       might do to us if you had killed her."        Z'leyra answers to Kiet, "I had planned to pull my blows, but       she was so fast and skilled that without going full out I       wouldn't have touched her at all. As to what they might do...       well the Kameri are not an evil people. They would see that       you do not have an invite anymore and simple ask you to leave...       and escort you to the border."        Fuk listens to this realizing that a fight might've ruined       almost a month's work to get here to end in seconds. Wise       decisions or bad ones? Finally he speaks up. "You seemed to use       different fighting forms That last blow to the head reminds me       of a far eastern form of fighting."                  *******************       [Time: 7:19 am]       Actions? Comments?       Next Update..Monday...       GM: I think this is a good place to stop. With 17 posts         I got swamped so ran out of time yesterday. I spent         the first 5 hours catching up on the old posts that         was 600 lines of above. Then I added another 100 lines         today. It was near midnight when I finally started to         do the new stuff (not recap posted stuff).  Yes 5         hours it takes a long time to format, edit, extract to         files, add to website, etc. I had planned to move         us to next village. But I think the previous night         is fine to stop for actions. Since this is out later         consider this the Friday update. I'll be busy tomorrow         so can't much until probably Saturday. So will do some         of next update then. So if get enough posts by 5pm         EST Saturday that'll be fine. Sorry for being late         but work and work bleh.         Mournath/Pyan you could join the other men but you         never posted. So it is still a option and interact.         I think we'll move on unless the men decide to hold         off longer in the lodge interactions.       GM: Arawn - I assumed you joined the men based on emails/post.         Dorhak - Let me know what to do.          I think I lost your comments on the fight. I may          have lost the email/post. Sorry.         Kell - You still around? Been quiet. For next adventure          you'll need to be super active. :)         Kiet - Can do stuff just let me know what.         Mae - Can chat with Fremea if that was your intent.         Z'leyra - How long to stay in the village? On to          which village next?       GM: Time - New folks         For the new folks you may see how I handle things by        now. There are important things to consider. The first        are time stamps and date stamps. [Febris 8th..] [Time: 5pm]        These show which part of the day things are going on. For        this update it covers about 12 hours. Folks can post retro        active things like the men's lodge fine with no issues.        Only when it affects present (last events in update) that        it can be a issue. For example say current event is that        group needs a shovel to dig up a treasure. If none were        considered then its not done. But one can't say the previous        morning you bought a shovel at the store. That would affect        the current. So it is suggested but not required to reply        in terms of these time situations. Look at John/Arawn's        posts he uses the time stamps which are great. But it        is not required.  It just helps me figure out where to        place the things in the update. Else I have to assume        ere and not there. So it helps with cohesion. So feel        free to post retro old actions and new ones.       GM: Necklace Use [Reminder to myself]        Feb 7 - ????        Feb 8+- ???? ------------------------------ Subject: Digest Footer _______________________________________________ pnpgm mailing list pnpgm@list.powersandperils.org http://www.powersandperils.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pnpgm ------------------------------ End of pnpgm Digest, Vol 154, Issue 23 ************************************** _______________________________________________ pnpgm mailing list pnpgm@list.powersandperils.org http://www.powersandperils.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pnpgm
